After the new entry-level smartphones Samsung Galaxy ON 5 and the Galaxy ON 7 have been published on Samsung India's website, the official images and specifications of these handsets have been immediately released.

Ecumenical News reports that the Samsung Galaxy ON 5 comes in 5.0-inch TFT LCD display with a 720 x 1280 screen resolution and 288ppi pixel density. The company has also stated that the smartphone was built by a thin frame and bezel and with an eye-catching faux leather back which lifts the appearance of the handset.

This entry-level smartphone is being powered by a quad-core 1.3 GHz Exynos 3475 processor and backed up by 1.5 GB of RAM. It features a microSD slot, where its 8 GB of internal storage can be expanded. For camera configuration, the new Galaxy ON 5 sports an 8 MP back camera with f/2.1 aperture and LED flash, and a 5MP front-facing camera.

Furthermore, this Galaxy On5 is equipped with a removable 2,600mAh battery. Users will be able to enjoy a 13 hours of Wi-Fi browsing or 12 hours of video playback, as its battery delivers enough juice to experience this. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS while sporting a dual-SIM, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS capabilities.

On the other hand, the company's support sites haven't listed the details about the Galaxy ON 7 innards. Nevertheless, the site says that it features a 5.5-inch handset that is listed by model name SM-G600FY, NDTV gadgets noted.

As for the other specifications of the Samsung Galaxy ON 7, a report from Phone Radar notes that it comes with a 13MP main camera with LED flash and f/2.1 aperture, and a 5MP on the front. It will also be powered by Exynos 3475 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz along with 1.5GB of RAM.

An 8GB internal storage along with a microSD card slot for storage expansion is being featured in the Samsung ON 7. This device will have a marginally bigger 3,000mAh battery than the ON 5 that has 2,600mAh battery.

As the official images and specifications of the entry-level smartphones from Samsung, the Galaxy ON 5 and Galaxy ON 7, have been release, the price of the devices was also revealed at around Rs.10, 000 and Rs.13, 000 respectively.
