The new tablet Dell XPS 12 was already released with a keyboard unlike the Microsoft's tablet. Moreover, the company is hoping that its XPS line of computers which boasts higher-end features at a cheap price can knock down Apple.
According to the Verge, a user would think that the new Dell XPS 12 is like a miniature laptop at the first glance, nevertheless, it's really not. Much like Microsoft's latest Surface Book, it has a base unit and a separate tablet. The new tablet comes in 12.5-inch display and astoundingly a user can even get a 4K choice here.
Dell utilizes magnets in order to slide the screen into the base unit and all of the components are boarded in the tablet itself. The company also include a USB-C to USB-A adapter with its new tablet. It also boasts a 30WHr battery that should survive up to 10 hours on a charge, laptopmag wrote.
On the other hand, the new XPS 12 does not come with an included stylus, it is said that there's no way to accord the stylus to the XPS 12; a user should have to pack it in a magnetic Premier Folio. The website also states that they are definitely fascinated to realize how the XPS 12 that is fitted with Intel's Skylake processor will perform.
For pricing concern, a consumer can have a Dell XPS 12 with a 6th-Generation Intel Core M5-6y54 processor, 1080p display, 8GB of RAM, and a 128GB SSD at a price that starts at $999. The storage can also increase to 256GB, according to Dell.
