Activision delays Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 versions on Xbox 360 and PS3, Players await the release date

The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5, which are previously scheduled to be released in November, have been delayed. These last-gen versions of the skateboarding game currently do not have any release date.

The delay by Activision was due to concentration of the team on bug fixes along with content updates for the versions recently released for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 which gained some cold critical reception from the fans.

A representative from Activision told Eurogamer, "We are working closely with our developers to address the issues identified by our community. Our development resources are fully focused on fixes and content updates for PS4 and Xbox One, so we have decided to delay the release of THPS5 on PS3 and X360"

The game developers promised to update the community whenever details about PS3 and Xbox 360 release date is available. There is still no new release date announced, but Eurogamer believes that Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 will not arrive until 2016.

Twinfinite reported that it was on on Sept. 29 when Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5 got released for PS4 and the Xbox One. The game then received poorly by many fans.

In a previous announcement by Game Spot, the $40 Pro Skater 5 versions on Xbox 360 and PS3 do not have the "seamless" online multiplayer feature that is present among the new-generation editions.

Game Spot have also reviewed Pro Skater 5's release on Xbox One and PS4 and gave a score of 3/10. They believe that this release in September is not what Activision have in mind as the game was attacked by negative comments from critics due to several glitches and other issues. Days after the said launching, Activision admitted the problems and promised to fix them.

This delay by Activision seem to disappoint some Tony Hawk' fans who expected its arrival on Xbox 360 and PS3 versions. However, many still hope that Activision will be able to work out Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 for the better and will eventually announce an official release date.
