Next Wednesday’s episode marks the Halloween-themed installment of "American Horror Story". Aptly titled “Devil’s Night”, viewers will find Evan Peters’ psychopathic character hosting a dinner which promises to deliver another violent turn of events. Other highlights of the hour include the guest appearance of Darren Criss.
According to the International Business Times, an interesting night filled with unwanted guests will unfold in Hotel Cortez. “Detective John Lowe (Wes Bentley) will get invited to a “Devil’s Night Soiree.” But this isn’t any old Halloween party. The guests are famous -- and deadly,” the site teased.
Aside from the villain James March, viewers should expect for famous serial killers to appear in the installment including: Aileen Wurnos (Lily Rabe) and John Wayne Gacy (John Carroll Lynch).
The FX network also released the sneak peek promo via Tech Times, showing a scene where March toasts to the "greatest killers of our time” in the middle of his “traditional” Halloween. What’s more, the clip revealed a scene between Alex and Lady Gaga’s The Countess where the former confronts her about Holden.
To this end, viewers should expect for some unique conversations among March and his fellow serial murderers. As to what happens on Alex and Lady Gaga’s arc, it will be a challenge on Alex’s part to press The Countess’ buttons since viewers are already aware of what she’s capable of.
Apart from new faces Lily Rabe and John Wayne Gacy, a new character in the form of Darren Criss will be arriving to join the festivities on Wednesday night.
Carter Matt shared that Criss will be introduced on AHS as a “young hipster looking to escape his local neighborhood at the Hotel Cortez”. The question remains as to whether he will survive his first slumber on the creepy hotel.
With the new characters boarding the Halloween-themed episode of "American Horror Story" next week, the show is expected to spook more viewers than before. Catch it air on Oct. 28 at 10pm on FX.
