The action roleplaying game Sword Art Online: Lost Song comes out with a story trailer of Mysterious Guild few weeks before its scheduled release in November. The game is set in the continent of Svart Alfheim.
Bandai Namco publicized the game trailer for Sword Art Online: Lost Song which features Kirito and his friends meeting a new mysterious guild in Alfheim Online, Yibada reported. Consequently, the mysterious guild consist of new characters: Seven, Rain and Sumeragi. Also, the video clip features a conflict between Kirito and Sumeragi. The trailer was shown during the New York Comic Con event.
Realty Today wrote in their site that the approaching RPG of Sword Art Online is "set in the SOA universe in which an original adventure comprising of the same playable characters and history but set in an alternate reality." The story trailer of Mysterious Guild, the site added, is the effort of Kirito and his friends to beat a new guild named Shamrock while playing the Alfheim Online's expansion. The Alfheim expansion bring together the Svart Alfheim series of islands in the sky.
Anime News Network further described the continent of Svart Alfheim, with the flying city of Line at its center. The player can set out on quests after preparing and deciding on their coalition. The site also cited Game Producer Yōsuke Futami saying the game would take 20 to 30 hours to finish. However, there are no definite closing stages for each character. Nonetheless, the game includes special, character-specific episodes. Completing quests in story mode will unlock the quests in multiplayer mode.
It was recalled by Anime News Online that Sword Art Online: Lost Song became available for Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita in Japan on March, this year. Come November 13, the game is slated to be available in Europe and on November 17 in North America for the same platforms. While Game Director's Edition will be out in Japan in November 19. Director's Edition contains the Sword Art Online: Lost Song and Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment games for the PS4.
