Microsoft is currently working on a mid-range handset dubbed as Lumia 650 that will be shipped with Windows 10. A leaked render unveiled the shiny look of this forthcoming Lumia device.
According to WinBeta, the codename for this smartphone is "Saana", which a lot of people initially believed that this will be a successor to the Lumia 830. However, since specs are still limited, it remains to be seen if the specs match for an accurate 640 successor.
Based on the render, this handset could be named as the Lumia 650 if the time revealed on the phone is anything to go by. Microsoft is known for exposing the model of a Lumia in the sample shots of a device. For example, both the Lumia 950 and 950 XL share the time 9:50 in their demo shots, it is said that this has been the case with almost all of Windows Phone Lumia handsets.
Latinos Post reports that the latest Lumia smartphone is the RM-1152 which is a model that has been revealed in AdDuplex and showed to feature a standard five-inch 720p screen. It also includes a 2000 mAh battery capacity, Glance Screen support as well as a microSD card slot. One handy feature that's allegedly absent in the phone is the faithful camera button that is not incorporated in the design of the handset.
As for more of its rumored specifications, the Lumia 650 will reportedly be powered by Qualcomm MSM8909 Snapdragon 210. This mid-range phone will also plug a gap in Microsoft's Windows 10 mobile list. It is said that the line are now featuring high-end devices Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL, and a starter smartphone, Lumia 550.
Phone Arena reports that until now, there's no word on what features the Saana or Lumia 650 is going to offer as well as the information if when it will hit the stores. In any case, the handset is expected to be more advanced and probably larger compared to Lumia 550 that features a 4.7-inch device.
Next month, Microsoft's latest smartphones, the Lumia 950 and 950 XL flagships will finally go on sale while the Lumia 550 will be available in December. Nevertheless, the Microsoft Lumia 650 for now has no further details of its availability so far.
