'Gotham' Season 2 Episode 6 Spoilers: New villain will fire Gotham City, Theo continues war with Penguin, Selina Kyle’s tough decision to make

By

"Gotham" will be on fire on its sixth episode with the appearance of a new villain named Firefly, real name Bridgit Pike (Michelle Veintimilla), who is the lone sister of the famed arsonists Joe and Evan Pike. Introduced as a meek girl in episode 5 "Sacrification", Bridgit embraced her fiery destiny after her brother was killed by James Gordon.

In a synopsis posted by Comicbook, the next episode will illustrate how Bridgit's "new spark of courage ignites within her" after rejoining her arsonist brothers. This episode will also determine Selina Kyle's loyalty to either her friend Bridgit who she saved, or to James Gordon (Benjamin McKenzie) who has saved her life. Selina will be in a very tight situation when she comes face-to-face with James, both holding a gun, as shown on the promo video.

Meanwhile, the war between Penguin (Robin Taylor) and Theo Galavan (James Frain) for full control of Gotham's underworld gets worse when Theo kidnapped Penguin's mother Gertrude (Carol Kane) in the last episode. Penguin, however, has something up his sleeve as he discovered a Galavan family secret. Theo, on the other hand, is planning to take on his revenge against Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz), according to MNR Daily.

Lastly, the lovestory of Edward Nygma (Cory Michael Smith) and Ms. Kringle (Chelsea Spack) is expected to be on fire as well. As noted by International Business Times, the relationship between Edward and Ms. Kringle "is expected to grow even further". But the question remains whether Edward can keep up with his head on track, or will his alter ego consumes him?

"Gotham" Season 2 Rise of the Villains will get more exciting for audience with the twist and turns of the story. The season will bring more light to the Gotham's corrupt world and the villains it breeds. Catch Gotham every Monday night at 8pm on FOX.
