Blizzard has prepared the final piece of the StarCraft II trilogy, Legacy of the Void. This final game now reveals its plot revolving around how Zeratul attempts to stop Amon from fulfilling the prophecy. He must convince Kerrigan to undergo some form of transformation in order to prevent the prophecy.

Basically, the plot is about reclaiming a lost world. In its official website, Blizzard reveals that the gamer plays as Artanis who has now raised a powerful fleet, the Golden Armada, embarked on a mission to claim their lost world. However, Amon comes along the way and threatens the entire galaxy. Artanis must then unite the protoss factions and defeat Amon before annihilates the whole sector.

Blizzard discussed its objective-based gameplay which features a co-op mode. Here, a player, along with a friend, fight off hosts of enemies in action-packed missions. One would also learn with StarCraft legends Jim Raynor, Sarah Kerrigan, and Hierarch Artanis. As a player levels up, additional units and abilities are unlocked, including exclusive team powers.

This finale has three campaign selections where in a player gets to choose a race. The Daily Dot describes the selection screen as one that will give a nostalgic throwback to players who have played the original Star Craft. One of it is the Protoss campaign where a player takes command of the Golden Armada which shall serve as the player's base of operations in between missions. As a player advances through the campaign, he would be able to explore the Protoss tech tree. Blizzard introduced a system which provides more flexibility to players in mission-to-mission compositions.

Basically, Legacy of the Void's missions follow the pattern of the previous titles which composes of building an army, attacking, and then moving across the map. There shall be several side objectives as well as other hazards while keeping enemies in mind. Lazy Gamer commented that tactical thinking is required with these missions.

The additional game features and an interesting plot which serves as a grand finale shall be made available on November 10. However, fans may now experience the taste of action available in the prologue missions.
