Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 and Galaxy Tab A 8.0 variants are confirmed under development for the Android 6.0 Marshmallow software and are set for a 2016 second-quarter release. The software upgrade will bring in new features and improvements.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrade is officially coming to a total of 14 Samsung Galaxy Tab A variants. An official list of Samsung Galaxy devices had been released via an official over-the-air rollout. Accordingly, the expected time of arrival of the biggest Android upgrade for the devices is in the second quarter of 2016, around April, May and June.
Marshmallow is now in development stage for Galaxy Tab A devices wherein Samsung incorporates it software with Marshmallow. If development is deemed successful, testing will be initiated afterwards.
In this stage, the performance of Android 6.0 Marshmallow will be assessed if ready to launch in Galaxy Tab A's system. Official release will begin to be released on location or on the mobile carrier.
Galaxy Tab A 9.7 variants included in the list sums up to six while Galaxy Tab 8.0 seven in all.

Aside from being considered the most polished software upgrade of Google, Android 6.0 Marshmallow is also said to be best thought out and well put together version of Android. With Marshmallow, users are given the widest opportunity to customize device and tweak it according to personal taste. It also does more things to manage rowdy apps in the background.
Other Galaxy phones included in the list are Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Galaxy S5, among others.
