LG V10 vs. Sony Xperia Z5; Price, Specs, Features Comparison; Which One Is Better?

LG electronics and Sony are two of the top contenders in the smartphone arena. The LG's flagship smartphone V10 will fight against Sony's Xperia Z5 to see which one will emerge victorious and triumphant when it comes to specs and features.

According to an article by Vine Report, the LG V10 features a 5.7-inch IPS LCD Screen with a secondary display that assists the users to have an easy access to applications they often use. On the other hand, the Xperia Z5 has a 5.5-inch screen at ultra-high definition quality. This smartphone is boastful about being the first phone to have 4k Triluminos display with X-Reality for mobile and Dynamic Contrast Enhancer.

The LG V10 design that is incorporated provides durability with its stainless steel side rails, reinforced frame and synthetic back cover. In contrary the Xperia Z5 has ratings of IP65 for waterproof and IP68 dust tight.

Furthermore, Realty Today stated that both smartphones run Android Lollipop v5.1.1, powered by a Qualcomm chipset. The V10, in particular, has the Snapdragon 808 with a quad core 1.44 GHz cortex A53 and a dual core 1.82 GHz cortex A57 while the Xperia Z5 Premium has the Snapdragon 810 with quad core 1.5 GHz A53 and a quad core 2 GHz cortex A57.

As for the memory, LG V10 comes with an internal memory of 64 GB with an expandable storage of up to 128 GB. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium on the other hand, is armed with a 32 GB internal memory and an expandable storage of up to 200 GB. LG's flagship has a 4 GB RAM while the Xperia Z5 only has 3 GB.

Camera-wise, LG's device has 16-megapixel primary camera with OIS and a 5-megapixel duo front snapper while its rival, is armed with 23-megapixel camera with LED flash and a 5.1 MP selfie camera.

In terms of batter life, V10 uses a Li Ion 3,000 mAh battery while the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium comes with a Li Ion 3,430 mAh one. Despite the differences, both smartphones have fast charging capability; 50% in 40 min for V10 and 60% in 30 min for Z5 Premium.

For the device's price, LG V10 is tagged at $615 while Sony Xperia Z5 price is expected to be around $1000.

Evidently, both flagship smartphones also have their individual assets. LG V10 and Sony Xperia Z5 may also have differences in specs, features and price, but the smartphones' overall impact and review seems to give the consumers a difficult time of choosing which is which.
