Since its announcement, Capcom's Resident Evil still has no official release date. And amidst the anticipation, fans have been promised of update of spin-offs and other related games. With this, a rumor started circulating within the fan community with regards to Resident Evil 7's possible adoption of Virtual Reality. Once released, it will be available for PC, Xbox One, PS4, PS3 and Xbox 360.
Capcom's Development Division I, they have been attempting to assimilate the latest version of horror video to virtual reality. Resident Evil was not mentioned, but talks have been pointing out the information to be true. The development team, however, admitted that they were looking at the virtual reality marked for current and future projects. They wanted to harness virtual reality to unmatched horror experience via VR headset. To clarify things, Capcom reveals that Resident Evil 7 is among the list to be considered for VR as to magnify the zombie chase experience. According to Christian Post, what is already confirmed is the remake of Resident evil 2 in VR. Furthermore, Capcom said that they are not yet ready to disclose further information but advised fans to stay tuned.
In an interview with Capcom Producer Masachika Kawata, he asked the fans to wait a bit more for the updates regarding the next game installment. He answered all the questions about Resident Evil 7 on Dengeki Play Station's 600th volume. When asked about the release, he simply answered: "We're currently not at a state to talk about it...but please stay tuned."The news remains vague, according to Latin Post, while there might be news about the release date on a sooner time or that the game is still in progress.
On another news, more surprises on Resident Evil 7 leak as fans are disappointed on the game losing its horror factor. As Gazette Dubai reports, fans hoped that the game be much better, as what they have seen on screenshots that were released earlier. Having said that there will be plenty of horror, Resident Evil 7 will much more serve as a remake of all the trilogy and gain the title Resident Evil Zero.
Resident Evil 7 having no release date yet, Capcom has told the fans to stay tuned for further announcements. What has been confirmed as of today is the remake of Resident Evil 2 for VR and that Resident Evil 7 is among the list to be considered for VR.
