Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Half Shell Cast, Spoilers: Classic characters Bebop, Rocksteady appearance possible; Judith Hoag to make cameo

The turtles are set for another round of adventure in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Half Shell and they will be joined by another classic vigilante. Judith Hoag was also recently confirmed to make a cameo appearance in the film.

Despite earning more than $400 million in the box office worldwide, the first film did not get positive rating from the critics. As reported by Movie News Guide , some of the reasons cited were the absence of some of the classic characters from the comics and the alterations made for the movie.

However this might no longer be the case in the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Half Shell as new characters who were mostly notable from the comics are set to cross dimensions and appear in the big screen.

The turtles will be joined by Stephen Amell as the vigilante Casey Jones who was notable as an ally of the titular heroes. In most instalments, Casey Jones was also portrayed as the master of stealth who uses sports materials mostly as his choice of weapon, and was also often linked as April O'Neil's love interest.

But with the advent of a new ally in the sequel, the bad guys are also set to increase their number as International Business Times also reported that classic characters Bebop and Rocksteady are also set to appear in the film. In the comics, Bebop and Rocksteady were the Shredder's henchmen, who were later transformed to become mutated warthog and mutated rhino.

Furthermore, as mentioned in previous report, Judith Hoag who previously played April in the 1990 film is also expected to appear in the sequel although her character is currently undisclosed. The evil alien villain General Krang is also heavily rumored to appear but the involvement of the character is yet to be confirmed by Paramount.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Half Shell is currently in post-production and is expected to hit theaters on June 3, 2016. It is directed by Dave Green and stars Megan Fox as April O'Neil, Alan Ritchson as Raphael, Pete Ploszek as Leonardo, Noel Fisher as Michaelangelo, and Jeremy Howard as Donatello among many others.
