The end of October was the previous expected release date of Cobalt. However, Mojang recently announced that the projected release is not going to happen and the game will be delayed to February 2016.

As stated in Mojang's post reported by Latin Post, Cobalt's delay in arrival is mainly because of the bugs. "We've been working on Cobalt for a long time and, though the game is feature complete, our current build is buggier than we're comfortable with," the post reads.

The maker of Minecraft also emphasized that the want the game's challenges, local and online multiplayer, and campaign to meet the gamers' expectations. To enhance the elements of Cobalt, they will need more time for the development.

According to the post, the game need to pass through certain certification requirements before a console versions will be made available. Part of the statement says, "releasing a game on console is an especially complicated business."

In addition to the this report, Shack News said that Mojang will work on the complications in console development. This is why Cobalt will need an extra four months to feel safe before the game hits PC, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.

Mojang have also released a video via its official Youtube channel announcing that Cobalt's launch party is currently cancelled until further notice.

Cobalt is known as an adventure game for one or two players that offers several game modes like Capture the Plug, Deathmatch, and Team-Strike. The online multiplayer allows up to 8 players on Xbox 360, Windows Steam, and Xbox One while Windows and Mac versions need a level editor.

Speed and combat challenges are also available in the game. Players may enjoy the survival mode, cute robots, and numerous upgradeable guns.

The delay of the action-oriented game seems to disappoint some gamers who expected the launching this month. However, this delay on Cobalt's release date to February 2016 means better gaming experience for some fans.
