Huawei is bound to unveil another smartphone that is expected to debut either early or mid-2016. The said device was Huawei P9 that is speculated to have a dual-camera set-up based on leaked image.
According to Irish Examiner, the leaked pictures showed a pair of labels for the rear-facing camera of the Huawei P9. It also shows a hole for the LED flash, the labels also feature a cut-out for what could be the sensor of a laser auto-focus feature. The labels on the leaked picture were in white and gold color, this seems to indicate that the device might have two varieties of colors. The image also features the text LTE for the gold one and Delux for the white one. Lastly, the two circular holes signify that the P9 might feature two cameras on the rear.
Christian Post cited the predicted specs of the upcoming smartphone by Huawei. The Huawei P9 was believed to features a 5.2-inch with 1080p resolution touchscreen. This handset might be engineered with an octa-core Kirin 950 processor, manufactured using Taiwan's TSMC's 16nm FinFET process. This chipset is expected to run at DDR4 speeds, all of which will be supported by 4GB of RAM.
One of the two main cameras of Huawei P9 might have a 16-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization, and it may sport a standard fingerprint scanner on its rear panel. It is not yet stated whether the second rear camera will also have 16-megapixel OIS, as well.
Furthermore, Vine Report stated on its article that there were talks that aside from the Kirin chipset there is also a possibility that the P9 might sport an octa-core processor of Cortex A72 and four Cortex A57, along with a Mali T880 GPU and a 4GB RAM.
Based on the speculated features and leaked images the Huawei P9 is most likely to sport amazing specs that might get the interest of smartphone enthusiasts. But since none of these were proven, they still have to wait for the Chinese tech giant's confirmation about the specifics of the handset.
