HTC is set to unveil the HTC One A9 Aero, the first non-Nexus device to run on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow. This handset will debut on the company's October 20 event in New York City.
According to an article by Christian Today, the One A9 Aero seems to show that the Taiwanese tech giant will cut the usual One M-Series and start a whole new line in the A-Series.
In addition, the report also cited some of the specs and features that the newest smartphone of HTC will carry. One of which is a 5-inch with 1920x1080 HD resolution display. It will sport a 13-megapixel front-facing camera and will be powered by a 2,150 mAh capacity battery all clad in a metal build. The HTC One A9 Aero will also include support for 4G+ and the usual other features like WiFi, Bluetooth, global positioning system (GPS) and assisted GPS (AGPS) support.
Latinos Post further added that One A9 Aero is speculated to be engineered with either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 with 2GB of RAM or a Snapdragon 620 with 3GB of RAM. Whichever is used for the device, predictions say it's not looking like a new line that will replace the HTC One M-series.
Moreover, NDTV Gadgets said on its report that the HTC One A9 Aero shows bold curved edges and two wireless antenna lines running on the top and bottom edges, making it similar to an iPhone design. The front panel of the device has a physical button at the bottom that might double up as a fingerprint sensor as well. The rear-facing camera on the One A9 is situated on the top center of the handset. The right edges contain the power and volume rocker buttons while the left side of the gadget includes slots for SIM card and microSD card.
The information about the HTC One A9 Aero is not yet confirmed by the Taiwanese tech giant, but as the event nears, every little detail about the newest smartphone is expected to be publicized.
