Frogwares Studios and BigBen Interactive's final installment of the Sherlock game series, Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter will be released in Spring of 2016. According to its creators, a whole lot Sherlock game is to be expected that is truly one of a kind, along with state-of-the-art graphics.
The game features five new cases which appear to be more intriguing and challenging. Each investigation produces more than one suspect which would push the player's skills to the limit. An open world gaming is likely hinted as the game environment is described as an expansive landscape which players can explore freely, according to PC Gamer. In a press release, Frogwares Studios stated: "Featuring taut action and investigative work, Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter, the eighth and latest entry in the franchise, will push your abilities to the limit in a one-of-a-kind interactive experience."
This popular detective game is expected to first appear in the upcoming Paris Games Week. Christian Post commented that the game is equally awesome as its previous titles. Furthermore, there would be a slightly different approach in the game as BigBen Interactive gets to publish the game. Accordingly, there would be a combination of mechanics as players are said to be prepared to maneuver through a fast-paced action sequence, instead of a purely logic-flexing game. Holmes' logic shall be overwhelmed by "family stories, irresistible emotions, and occult revenge". In addition, the publisher's state-of-the-art graphics will transport a player to an expansive landscape as the Victorian London comes to life.
This Baker Street-based detective game, Sherlock Holmes series, is also based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's most popular creation. According to Eurogamer, this new Sherlock game offers a reflective puzzle-solving approach plus a whole new addition which features a reflex-based action sequence. The site further reviewed the game as "a largely entertaining and involving detective game".
With a fast-paced action sequence blending with puzzle-solving, Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter have come up in a combination of drama and action. Adding to it is the impressive graphics featuring an extensive landscape which is free to be explored. This last game of the Sherlock series is available on Spring of 2016 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One platforms.
