The Good Wife Season 7 Episode 5 Spoilers: Howard and Cary Butt Heads; Jason Gets Aggressive On A Case

By

The Good Wife season 7 will finally address Howard’s (Jerry Adler) problem with Agos-Lockhart & Lee. This storyline will allow for Matt Czuchry’s character to unleash his pent-up issues and anger at Lyman. Meanwhile, Jason (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) will take an aggressive approach on the case of the week involving a student loan.

The promo released by CBS via YouTube hints that “Payback” will delve heavily on Howard Lyman’s ageism suit against the firm. In one scene, the partners were seen having a meeting with the funny lawyer addressing his “concerns”. Fans should also look out for a moment between Cary and Howard as they butt heads with one another following the lawsuit.

Meanwhile, this week’s case will allow for a shining moment with Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Jason Crouse. According to the episode description shared by The Futon Critic, Alicia (Julianna Margulies) and Lucca (Cush Jumbo) will be working on a student loan case and Jason will be employing an aggressive approach to get the job done.

In minor arcs, Eli will continue presenting the Florrick family drama in the midst of Peter’s (Chris Noth) campaign.

The network also released a gallery to promote the upcoming installment via SpoilerTV. Highlights of the images include a scene where Alicia, Lucca, and Jason discuss the case with a client, Peter and Alicia attending an event and Eli looking pissed-off – as always.
