This week’s episode of Z-Nation will roll out the episode where famous author George R.R. Martin makes his cameo appearance. Martin is known for his series of novels which has been the inspiration of HBO’s smash hit Game of Thrones. Moving forward, the zombie series will introduce a storyline for the team where they go into an adventure in the hunt for zombie aliens.
To tease Martin’s guest starring gig on Z-Nation, Syfy released a promotional video via The Latin Post. The brief clip features the author as a zombie following the release of his book titled “A Promise of Spring”.
According to the site, this title is a nod to the seventh installment of “A Song of Ice and Fire”.
The episode titled “The Collector” will find Murphy (Keith Allan) being captured by a potentially crazy zombie collector who goes by the monicker of “The Collector.” He is portrayed by actor Tom Beyer.
Beyer’s character then takes Murphy on an exhibition tour inside his creepy zombie museum. Entertainment Weekly has previewed the details in a recent report.
He later introduced Murphy to the zombified version of George R.R. Martin, who currently lives inside the “celebrity zombie room”. Unfortunately, Murphy doesn’t find Martin impressive since he was never a fan of the book nor the series.
To this end, viewers should expect for some unique banters among the characters involved. As to whether Martin will come back for another episode, fans are gonna have to wait for further developments.
Moving forward, next Friday’s episode will take the team on a mysterious drive through RoZwell, N.M. According to the episode synopsis shared by TV.com, the team will be encountering bright lights in the sky alongside a beautiful but spacey woman who leads them on an adventure to track down zombie aliens.
The upcoming ninth episode is titled “Rozwell” and will air on Nov. 6th.
