Elementary Season 4 will be more of a family affair as Morland Holmes comes back to help his son Sherlock get his job and his life back. Unfortunately, Sherlock is not that happy with the idea of his estranged father returning to his life.
In a post from Christian Today, the first episode of Elementary Season 4 will focus on Morland's arrival and its effects to Sherlock. Morland's sudden appearance will also create a suspicion from Sherlock and Dr. Joan Watson (Lucy Liu). They will begin to wonder if Morland is sincere or does he have any ulterior motives for coming back.
Elementary series creative Rob Doherty explains that Sherlock feels that it is too late for his father to make amends as he has never been there throughout the detective's life. According to Christian Post, Sherlock will be torn between balancing his professional and personal life now that "Dad" has returned.
Meanwhile in a report from Den of Geek, Rob Doherty, who is also the show's executive producer, is very much excited to have John Noble on board the series not just a special guest but a series regular. John Noble played the role of Denethor in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. He was also one of the cast members for Sleepy Hollow and Fringe.
"We've enjoyed his work for many years now - especially his tremendous run on 'Fringe' - and cannot wait to see him opposite Jonny and Lucy. It's going to be an exciting season," he said.
Elementary is crime drama series adaptation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's classic Sherlock Holmes set in modern day New York. It describes Sherlock as a police consultant who works together with former surgeon Dr. Joan Watson in solving the most difficult crimes in New York.
Elementary Season 4 premieres on November 5 at 10pm on CBS.
