The second season of the hit TV series The Librarians follows the new adventures the four librarians in their mission to protect the world from a hidden magical reality. Aside from their adventures, the second season will also give attention to Eve Baird and a very challenging decision to make.
Tension will arise as Eve makes a decision to leave the librarians on their own and join Flynn Carsen, or to stay and be with them. In a post from the Examiner, Rebecca Romjin, who plays the role of Eve, is torn between Flynn and her team she has trained.
"My character, because she was originally invited by the Library to be Guardian to Flynn, is a little bit torn between running off with him and sticking with the Librarians-in-training, who have really become my family. For me, there's a little bit of tension there," Romjin said.
Noah Wyle, who plays the role of Flynn, will be seen in five episodes where he works together with Eve while the newly-trained librarians go off on solo missions. Eve and Flynn's relationship is not perfect and they will encounter different obstacles as they work on their missions together.
Meanwhile, various fictional characters are set to cause problems to our modern day superheroes. According to Bleeding Cool, while the first season focused on preventing the release of magic, the second season will focus on the consequence of its release.
In the trailer posted by News OK, the librarians will face the likes of Frankenstein's Monster, Shakespeare's Prospero, Queen of Hearts and James Moriarty.
The Librarians is a story about secret organization composed of librarians solving mysteries, recovering artifacts and fighting the supernatural. The story revolves around the librarians Flynn Carsen, Jacob Stone, Cassandra Cillian, Ezekiel Jones and Jenkins, who are trained by Eve Baird.
The series will premiere two back-to-back episodes on November 1 at 8PM on TNT.
