Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment just announced a new set of content for Injustice: Gods Among Us. The new content includes new gear, new characters, a new Survival mode, and an accompanying trailer to wrap up the release.
In a press release dated October 23, 2015 courtesy of Gamasutra, Injustice: Gods Among Us publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment officially launches new content for the immensely popular brawler game. The new update is the largest content release in a year. The new update feature new characters from the Batman: Arkham trilogy from Rocksteady Studios including the Arkham Knight and Harley Quinn. New characters like the Flash and Reverse Flash from the CW/Warner Bros. television series The Flash will also be made available in the new content update.
The brand new Survival Mode in Injustice: Gods Among Us will also be made available. According to a brief introduction to the Injustice: Gods Among Us Survival Mode from TouchArcade, the new Survival Mode is not the regular run-of-the-mill survival theme that most games usually employ. After picking three heroes, a spinning wheel gives the player additional prizes, before being pitted against an AI team of three. When the match ends, players can either choose to continue to play with their remaining health, or decline and receive corresponding prizes. The higher up a player gets in Survival mode, the more chances of getting additional Gear Sets, which enhance the players' heroes throughout the game.
Accompanying the new content is a new trailer that feature all the new updates. Additional characters such as Justice League Wonder Woman, Red Lantern Hal Jordan, as well as the Blackest Night Marian Manhunter are featured in action. The characters are available when unlocked through the Challenge Mode for a limited release.
The new update for Injustice: Gods Among Us mobile game is now available for download via the App Store for Apple devices and will soon be available for Android devices.
