Co-Founder Vince Zampella of Respawn Entertainment assured fans that Titanfall 2 will be worth the wait. This statement was given after his announcement to bring the game to mobile devices in 2016.
Partnering with Nexon, Polygon said that the deal will produce "several new and original" games of Titanfall coming to iOS and Android over the coming years. Zampella also explained that they will not simply put the same game to work on a tablet but they will maximize what the platform has to offer.
Respawn is also said to be working hard on a developing a multiplatform sequel to Titanfall of 2014 which will be exclusive for Xbox platforms and PC. However, there is still no official announcement about the time when the sequel will hit the said gaming consoles.
When asked about the status of Titanfall 2, the Co-Founder of Respawn Entertainment replied: "I can't say just yet. I promise that it will be worth the wait."
EA has been known to confirm that Titanfall 2 will not be expected to go on sale on its present financial year, informing the investors that it will be "more likely" to launch anytime between April 2016 and March 2017.
Venture Beat predicted that Respawn may be preparing for a new Titanfall game to be released on 2017. This is mainly because Star Wars Battlefront will be out next month and the latest Battlefield title will arrive next year.
The game is expected to "prop up their FY17 numbers," said Hardcore Gamer after EA made a conference call. FY17 signifies the period that lies between April 2016 and March 2017 which guarantees that the game will not be released until April of next year but will be launched before April of 2017.
While no other information is known about the coming game, they assume that Titanfall 2 may be released just before March 2017. With the original game released in March 2014, there is a strong possibility that the sequel may have a March 2017 release.
This update about Titanfall 2 means a lot to many fans. They are sure that the game will be worth the wait since the statement came out straight from the Respawn Co-Founder himself.
