Xbox One backwards compatibility will enable owners to enjoy playing games from Xbox 360 on their consoles. This update will come to Xbox One on Nov. 12 where backwards compatibility and other features will be experienced.
Entertainment Weekly reported Microsoft's Phil Spencer announcement during the Halo 5: Guardians launch which says the console will also receive its major user interface upgrade along with the backwards compatibility on Nov. 12. In line with these changes, Microsoft promised that more than 100 titles from Xbox 360 games will be playable for Xbox One users in the near future.
For some gamers who will experience trouble with the compatibility at the launch, Microsoft guaranteed users that they will continually update the service in order to allow many 360 games to play on the Xbox One in the upcoming months.
The UI will also have some changes on Nov. 12 together with Windows 10-style update. The interface is said to run even more smoothly this time. It will be more accessible and players will be allowed to play games easily and get more involved with friends on Xbox.
According to Latin Post, the playable Xbox 360 games include Mass Effect, Gears of War, Burnout Paradise, A Kingdom for Keflings , Defense Grid, Kameo, Perfect Dark, Shadow Complex, Super Meat Boy, Toy Soldiers, Viva Piñata, and Zuma.
Microsoft will now allow players not just to play games digitally but to use the original discs of the game as well, said Cinema Blend. For some users who have downloaded their games from the Xbox store with their Xbox 360, it is now possible to re-add them back to the library once they are available on Xbox One.
These changes made by Microsoft seem to excite many gamers. Players who are waiting for the release are hoping that the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility will make their favorite games playable on their console.
