Konami has revealed the details about Metal Gear Online Patch 1.01 which is expected to solve almost all the bugs in the game. The update will further improve matchmaking movement speed, and weapons.
The publisher of the official Konami website explained that MGO patch 1.01 will address many issues of the game and make several changes. This patch will now match users with players of the same level and the game mission will end once all members of the team are stunned using cloak and dagger.
The overall movement speed of the characters will be increased. The health of Enforcers and Scouts will be increased but the Infiltrators' health and stamina will be decreased. Mobility is re-balanced for faster travelling in between objectives. All Scouts can now mark targets quicker than before while using binoculars.
The "E.LOCATOR" will be made exclusive for the Scout class while machines guns and launchers are only available for Enforcer class. For the shotguns, they will only be accessible by the Infiltrator class. As a result, the custom loadouts will begin on the maintenance period right after the update patch.
The Machine Gun's firing sway will be reduced and the there will ne reduced damage by using Walker Gear's Gatling. The Walker Gears and Anti-Aircraft will be taking more damage from several weapons.Maximum carry for "E.LOCATOR," "SLEEP GRENADE," and "STUN GRENADE" will be reduced while the maximum carry amount of "C.BOX" will be increased.
Icon for CQC grabs is not displayed anymore and the range will be narrowed. Furthermore, there will be a reduction on the non-lethal damage from CQC hits and grabs and the 1-hit CQC knock-outs is now exclusive to Infiltrators who have "CQC STEALTH+" Lv.2 or higher.
In another report from Express Co UK, METAL Gear also includes a nuclear option in the Phantom Pain. The said Phantom Pain Forward Operating Bases system has discovered a new patch that will give those with nuclear weapons a low chance of being attacked.
Play Station Lifestyle said that Konami is busy on fixing the problems in the Metal Gear Online and the MGO patch 1.01 will be expected sometime in November.
The list of the changes in Patch 1.01 seem to be convincing for many players. However, some Metal Gear Online fans want to see the game's matchmaking, speed, and weapons to believe it.
