Weeks before its official series premiere, Netflix has released the first full trailer of Marvel’s Jessica Jones, a new superhero drama starring Krysten Ritter. The streaming giant also unveiled the first poster of season one villain, Kilgrave. In other developments, it has been rumored online that Daredevil will be making an appearance in the first batch of episodes.

The Washington Post dissected the first full trailer in a report, previewing Ritter’s titular character. The publication wrote that the contemporary version of Jessica Jones is a damaged ex-superhero with a “been there, done that” strategy in discovering the bad traits in people.

The brief clip also allowed for some stopping “slow-moving” car effects only superheroes can pull off.

Days later, the official promotional poster of Kilgrave has also been released by Netflix, Coming Soon reported the news. Kilgrave will be played by Doctor Who and Broadchurch actor David Tennant who stands as the main villain of the first season. In the trailer, Kilgrave’s presence is heavily felt. His character is described as an enigmatic figure from Jessica’s past poised to bring menace through the former superhero’s new world.

In other Jessica Jones development, it has been highly rumored that Charlie Cox aka Matt Murdock/Daredevil will be making an appearance on the Melissa Rosenberg-produced show.

According to Comic Book, Collider’s Heroes Jon Schnepp shared the news recently. "You're definitely gonna see Matt Murdock in Jessica Jones," Schnepp reveals. "That's a fact. He's in it. I don't know how they interact, but he's in the series."

In the Marvel comics lore, Jessica find herself facing some legal troubles and during these events, she enlists the legal advice of Matt Murdock. It has been speculated, however, that Cox will be appearing as a lawyer and not a vigilante.

Netflix has released the first full trailer of Jessica Jones weeks before the show’s series debut while also unveiling the promotional poster of its season one big bad, Kilgrave. The show is slated to debut its 13-episode first run beginning on November 20.
