The Elder Scrolls VI Speculated to Arrive 2019 at the Earliest: Bethesda Continues to Set Release Date Rumors Aside

By

Bethesda's possible The Elder Scrolls VI title has mashed up all sorts of controversy over the past years, considering that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has shown great success. An expectation of having a follow-up installment to The Elder Scrolls franchise or perhaps a Skyrim 2 has certainly gone rampant, and without a doubt, release date announcements are valued more than anything.

According to Christian Today, since the utterly overwhelming triumph of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has been glorified, Bethesda is consistently asked of what plans are to be expected on the continuity of the franchise. As much as it is inevitable to speculate on an upcoming expansion, Bethesda has set the records straight on multiple occasions that there will not be an Elder Scrolls VI anytime soon, nor will there be a Skyrim 2.

From a recent report by Day Herald, Bethesda's time table states that a game is released almost every four years which somewhat instinctively gets fans to see the possibility of a title to release this year. Though rather likely, Bethesda has clarified that for the time being, the focus lies on The Elder Scrolls Online which is the existing installment of the series. This, unlike The Elder Scrolls VI, is confirmed to have an expansion, and it's only a matter of time.

Delivered by MNR Daily, the earliest possible time to expect the arrival of The Elder Scrolls VI would have to be on 2019 which is roughly four years from now. This claim is still highly uncertain, but since the time table declares a four-year interval between games, it may be a same presumption for gamers to hold on to.

For all-time fans of the series, no certain information can be withheld unless Bethesda themselves would be the source of such. At least for the time being, as The Elder Scrolls VI is still under construction, fans can take on The Elder Scrolls Online.
