"The Big Bang Theory" has recruited Adam Nimoy, son of Star Trek’s Leonard Nimoy, to guest star in an upcoming episode. The network broke the casting news last week. In other Big Bang news, an awesome mashup of the hit comedy’s signature theme song has been released online.
CBS will air an episode of "The Big Bang Theory" featuring the guest starring appearance of Adam Nimoy. According to Variety, viewers will find the younger Nimoy playing as himself on the Nov. 5th installment aptly titled “The Spock’s Resonance”. The storyline sets Adam planning to cast Sheldon to appear in a documentary about his late father, a project he’s actually working on.
Leonard Nimoy never made a physical appearance on the Chuck Lorre-produced comedy. But his presence has always been felt throughout the Big Bang’s 9-year stretch. He passed away in February 2015.
As shared by CBS, season two’s “The Codpiece Toplogy” installment finds Sheldon attending a Renaissance faire dressed as Spock. Viewers even saw Jim Parson wearing Vulcan ears for the full effect.
In season five, viewers saw Sheldon dreaming of an action figure of Spock that comes to life. The episode is titled “The Transporter Malfunction”.
In other "Big Bang" news, a new video has been released online featuring an awesome mashup of the show’s signature theme song. The short clip, which ran for 30 seconds, shows a montage of the cast saying words from the lyrics of the catchy intro. The news was reported by Yahoo Screen.
The song entitled “History of Everything” was made popular by Canadian rock band, Barenaked Ladies. A full length version which lasts for 1 minute and 45 seconds has been released in 2007 commercially.

A new video mashup of the show’s theme song is also making a buzz online. "The Big Bang Theory" is created and executive produced by Chuck Lorre. It stars Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco and Simon Helberg among others.
