Huawei is alleged to unveil its latest addition to its smartphone lineup, the Mate 8, on the 5th of November. It is a new flagship handset that is set to defy the iPhone 6s Plus with its Force Touch sensitivity feature and is said to sport a more durable design.

The Chinese company is gearing up for the purportedly launching of its newest Mate 8 device. This smartphone is expected to feature a 6-inch Quad HD display with 2560 by 1440 pixels resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass 4, and a humongous 4000mAh battery. Under the hood, it will be powered by 64-bit in-house HiSilicon Kirin 950 processor, Mali T-880 GPU, four Cortex A72 cores clocked at 2.4 GHz, and four A53 cores.

Camera wise, it boasts a 21-megapixel rear shooter with dual LED flash alongside an 8-megapixel front snapper. It is said to come in two variants - 32GB of internal memory with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage with 4GB of RAM expandable up to 128GB through a micro SD card. In addition, this Huawei latest device will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, modified by the company's Emotion UI 4.0, out of the box.

In terms of retail pricing, the Huawei Mate 8 is expected to cost around $520 for the 32GB variant and $610 for the 64GB version. However, all the rumored specifications mentioned need to be verified by the company first.

Unfortunately, the company has not confirmed anything about the Mate 8 yet. Nonetheless, all Huawei users and spectators should wait patiently for the unveiling of this promising and powerful device.

On the whole, there could be a possibility that everyone could finally get to see the Huawei Mate 8 on November 5. There is only a few days to go; thus, all that is left to do is to wait for that day to come and see if Mate 8 will actually arrive.
