The OnePlus X has been all over the wire due to rumors predicting its release date, price, specs and features, but that stage is now over as the Chinese tech giant has finally unveiled its newest smartphone. OnePlus' recently launched phone is expected to arrive in Europe on November 5 and in U.S on November 19.
According to an article by Christian Post, OnePlus X is the third smartphone under the same lineup that the Chinese company manufactured. The company has been dubbed as the "flagship killers," considering the high-end specs in an affordable price tag its products have.
The OnePlus X features a 5-inch Full HD AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Under its chassis, the smartphone is engineered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset paired with 3 GB of RAM. As for its memory, the internal storage is 16 GB but is expandable via microSD for up to 128 GB.
OnePlus X is powered by a 2,525 mAh capacity battery and it runs OnePlus' own version of the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, called OxygenO.The phone's cameras are comparable to recent flagships as its main rear-facing camera is a 13-megapixel shooter that is capable of Full HD video recording, while its secondary front camera is an 8-megapixel snapper.
Furthermore, Phones Review added that the OnePlus X has a 1080p video resolution and slow motion resolution of 720p video at 120fps.
NDTV Gadgets cited the two variants of OnePlus X, the Onyx variant is prices at Rs 16,999 and the limited edition Ceramic variant will be priced at Rs. 22,999. Onyx will be available starting November 5 while Ceramic will go on sale starting November 24.
With the specs and features that OnePlus X carry it will surely give a great competition to its rivals in smartphone arena. Meanwhile, possible buyers of the smartphone still have to wait until the OnePlus X becomes available on the market shelves.
