Alcatel's new entry-level smartphone Fierce XL which is an all-new U.S.-exclusive Android smartphone has already been unveiled. The latest Alcatel smartphone will also be available in T-Mobile starting this winter.
Latin Post wrote that the Alcatel Fierce XL comes in 5.5-inch 720 x 1280 HD IPS display while being powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 210 processor clocked at 1.1 GHz. It also has a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage that can be expanded up to 32GB through the micro-SD slot. It comes bundled with a 2,500mAh battery that holds the ability to last 360 hours if idle and 12 hours if this device is heavily utilized for calls and texts.
The Alcatel Fierce XL runs on Android 5.1.1 on a 5.5-inch 1280×720 display. For camera configuration, this device sports an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and 2-megapixel on the front. It also comes with Polaroid photo editing software where a user can apply filters, borders, and layouts and add tags to its photos, Gadget detail noted.
As for more about Fierce XL basic specifications, a report from Cell cute says that this device has Bluetooth 4.0, 150Mbps LTE speed along with VoLTE, Wi-Fi calling, HD Voice, GPS/A-GPS as well as a microUSB 2.0. It too sports a dual JBL powered stereo speakers that are positioned on the front side which also feature Harman Clari-Fi technology, thus a user can assume some powerful sound quality of this device through these features.
The site added that the latest smartphone ''Alcatel Fierce XL" was unveiled by the Alcatel OneTouch from smaller carriers in the US, MetroPCS. The Alcatel Fierce XL is being considered as a flawlessly proportioned high-end smartphone that can be purchased at $139 since it has been launched last November 2.
The Alcatel Fierce XL, an entry-level handset which still boasts pretty decent features comes available only at $139. This winter, this new Alcatel smartphone will also be available from T-Mobile which is another U.S based online retailer.
