‘The Justice League’ Rumored to Get a Trilogy; Director Zack Snyder Talks Building New Film with Old DC Ensemble Cast;

'The Justice League' director Zack Snyder is rumored to have enough material to create a trilogy although nothing has been official yet as of the present. He is currently building up the new back-to-back installment with an old DC ensemble cast.

According to Movie Pilot, director Zack Snyder has enough material for a rumored three-part series for his upcoming 'Justice League' live-action adaptation. A rumor has been going around that the 49-year old filmmaker may adapt a trilogy scheme for Earth's greatest heroes. Snyder will release part one of the back-to-back installment on 2017while part two will follow on 2019.

Part of the speculation reads, "WB wants two-part movie, and at the moment Snyder (and his team) has material for three ~ 2,5h (very expensive and time-consuming) movies - and yes, it's all "just a seven-eight hour" JL origin story - it's a little different way than Marvel and their Avengers." It was said that the DC shared universe will come up with a way to utilize a different structure from the Marvel Cinematic Universe to avoid plagiarism.

According to Flickering Myth, Snyder revealed that he is building up the new film with the familiar DC ensemble. He said, "We're working toward Justice League, and I really want to create the - part of the thing I really want to create is the possibility of a world where they could exist together. I think up to this point, it's been difficult to suggest a world where Batman and Superman and Wonder Woman and others could exist in the same universe. That was one of the things I really wanted to try and get at." He added that he wanted to bring to life each specific character in the planned films to tell their story within one cohesive film.

It was suggested that the script for part one is ready although there has been no official confirmation just yet, according to The Week. The script is a collaboration of sorts between Snyder and Oscar-winner Chris Terrio of 'Argo' and 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' fame. Snyder revealed their process saying, "Chris would talk and I would draw it, and it was basically this weird mural of the movies with no words."

'The Justice League' is an upcoming superhero film directed by Zack Snyder. Part one is scheduled for cinematic release on November 17, 2017 and stars Henry Cavill as Clark Kent a.k.a. Superman, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne a.k.a. Batman, Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry a.k.a. Aquaman, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince a.k.a. Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane and Ray Fisher as Victor Stone a.k.a. Cyborg.
