"NCIS" Season 13 Episode 7 saw DiNozzo's ex-girlfriend coming back to the scene as well as Gibbs still struggling from his near-death experience last season. The official synopsis for episode 8 has also been released.
In a report by Christian Post, episode 7 entitled "16 Years" was about the case of a retired Navy Lieutenant Commander. Gibbs led the investigation and as the case goes deeper, it is reported that Dr. Donald "Ducky" Mallard revealed a secret. The publication shared that Mallard is a member of a secret society that is devoted to solving cold cases. The victim in the latest case that Gibbs is handling is also part of the secret society.
Gibbs headed to the secret society in "NCIS" Season 13 Episode 7 and talked to some of its members. He was able to find out that most of them think like detective Sherlock Holmes to the extent that one of the members call their secret society "Sherlock consortium." The episode also showed a different side of Mallard outside his department.
As for DiNozzo's ex, Realty Today shared that Scottie Thompson will be back and the ex-lovers will be reunited again. The two will be reunited as a band of Sudan insurgents attacked a team of volunteer doctors and apparently one of the doctors is Scottie's husband. It remains unknown if DiNozzo will be able to forget about his past flame and help save her husband.
The official synopsis for episode 8 of "NCIS" has also been released and Hollywood Hills shared: "DiNozzo will get reunited with his ex-girlfriend, Jeanne Benoit, when insurgents in Sudan attack a group of volunteer doctors, including her husband. DiNozzo and McGee are going to travel to the crime scene for the joint murder and kidnapping case and will join the search for the missing doctors. Jon Cryer returns as Doctor Cyril Taft. Scottie Thompson returns as Jeanne Benoit."
"NCIS" Season 13 Episode 7 showed Gibbs working on a new case and Episode 8 featuring two characters coming back. The CBS show airs Tuesdays at 8.
