Half-Life 3 Release Date: Valve still mum following leak uncovered in DOTA 2 update: Is Left 4 Dead 3 next in line?

By

The Half-Life 3 rumor has become a widespread epidemic for so many years since the second installment came out. Valve themselves are on the receiving end of the hot seat and with so many inquiries on the line, what are fans to expect?

According to Christian Today, many months, and even years have passed since the second installment has been heard of. From the first title, Half-Life has shown immense success both financially and popularly-and without question, fans want more. However, even after countless occasions wherein Valve has been asked of the third installment, all efforts have been swung aside by the developers and fans are not liking it one single bit.

It was noted by Parent Herald that Half-Life 3, or news of it thereof, has come and gone all over the web. However, not much has been confirmed about it at all, even with the near obvious clues or perhaps mistakes that Valve inadvertently exposed. One of which was the file found on a DOTA 2 update which on itself was not an affirmative fact, but had the fans jittering excited.

Recently delivered by Youth Health Mag, despite the denial around Half-Life 3 and the Easter Eggs that fans have thought to lead to something good, a positive ray of light may at least be considered at this point. Valve was rumored to have declared Left 4 Dead 3 to be in the works, and the chart-topping title may be ready to hit the stores by 2017 at the earliest. This is one factor that gamers can hold on to for the time being as the series has accomplished success at an astronomical rate.

Half-Life 3, sadly, is not as near as people would want it to be. Valve has kept mum over the number of years since the second title has been out, and finally telling the public not to expect much from the wanted expansion.
