While the upcoming "Assassin's Creed" movie adaptation is nearing, new details are hitting the web following the sneak peeks of Michael Fassbender's character. Recently, new weaponry images that are being used for the movie adaptation are circulating around the social media.

On Wednesday, Ubisoft franchise head Azaïzia Aymar posted some images on his Twitter Feed. The first photo consists of a sword with a cross on the hilt which he captioned "Look at what I found on #assassinscreedmovie set! Those Abstergo guys just love Templars!"

While the second one has a bust of an elderly, bearded man with an unanswered question left for the audiences to answer. "Time for a close up! Who is the man on the pommel? #assassinscreedmovie #truetemplarwouldknow ;)", he shared.

According to IGN, the person Aymar was referring to was Hugues de Payens. While he was the co-founder and the aboriginal Grand Master of the Knights Templar, he was also a French co-writer of the Latin Rule, the Templar's Creed.

Aymar also mentioned the Abstergo in his tweet which Collider noted that they seem to also be included for a vital role in the film. The Abstergo Industries is the enemy of the Assassin Order. It is a multinational modern day corporation that serves as a front for the Templar activities.
