While the "John Wick 2" movie rolls into production, John Wick has found its new chief enemy in the character of a rapper-actor. Moreover, sneak peak photos from the set features the Hitman in his all-familiar dark suit.
Common (Entourage) was reportedly paired up against Keanu Reeves in the upcoming Liongate's sequel movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Further details are being kept concealed but Common will be the head of security for a woman crime lord.
The "John Wick 2" movie has begun production and images from the set were released on Daily Mail. On Friday, Keanu Reeves who plays the titular role was spotted filming a captivating fight scene with a major axe and his fake facial cuts and scrapes in Manhattan. And recently, he was seen in New York City's Time Square in his famous charcoal grey three-piece suit, shirt and tie. The scene had him power sliding the Chevrolet Chevelle into the motorcyclist at full speed, crashing him off his bike and causing him to sprawl.
Aside from Common, another original character will also be reprising his role in the "John Wick 2" movie. IGN noted that Ian McShane will again be joining the casts. In the original movie, he played the role as Winston, "the owner of the boutique hotel that caters to hit-person community with its discretion, on-call doctors and no-killing rule."
Under the direction of Chad Stahelski, David Leitch who was with him as the second director in the original film will not be returning to co-direct. Basil Iwanyk will also be returning as the movie producer.
The original "John Wick" movie was a box office hit having good comments from the critics and moviegoers. With a $20 million budget, the first movie earned a total of $78.7 million worldwide. Sources say the financial success of the movie easily convinced Lionsgate to give the green light for a sequel film.
Furthermore, with all those hypes and excitement, the audiences are excited to see the next man who is destined to face the wrath of the Bogeyman. "John Wick 2" movie is anticipated for a 2016 release.
