Apple is reportedly to launch a new 4-inch screen iPhone in early 2016. Rumor has it that the Cupertino-based tech giant is planning to release a mini iPhone, which could be an upgraded version of the iPhone 5s next year.
Ming-Chi Kuo, a reliable KGI Securities analyst, claims that Apple is considering unleashing a 4-inch screen iPhone in 2016, as reported by NBC News. The next-generation iPhone is said to feature a Retina display and an A9 processor, like that of the iPhone 6s. However, it could not sport a 3D Touch feature, for Apple reserves this feature for larger and more costly models.
The alleged new iPhone is also expected to boast a metal casing, unlike the plastic-made exterior of the 5c. In addition, there are three new upcoming iPhones - 4-inch, 4.7-inch, and 5.5-inch units, as per Kuo's predictions.
This 4-inch screen iPhone is rumored to be named as iPhone 6c. Its product launch is anticipated to be in spring next year, which could be six months prior to the much-awaited iPhone 7 launch in September. The demand for a more solid display implies that the tech giant could retail up to 30 million units all the way through December 2016.
Furthermore, Apple is also set to unveil other products in the coming days. The iPad Pro, 12-inch MacBook laptop, and larger iPhones are all expected to be released any time soon. Thus, everyone should look forward to these latest innovations and stay up-to-date.
On the whole, Apple has yet to confirm the predictions about its new 4-inch screen iPhone. If rumors are to be believed, then the iPhone 6c could be the lightest and slimmest iPhone to use the A9 system on chip. Hence, all Apple users and spectators should just wait patiently for the official announcements of the company regarding the matter.
