The recently unveiled Google Nexus 6P might have been very impressive with some of its features but it apparently has been quite disappointing as well. There are reports arising pointing out some of the problems that were experienced by the owners of the handset.
According to GottaBeMobile one of the problems that have surfaced was the delays in shipping, wherein the ones who placed pre-order were not able to receive their units. There were also reports saying that some lucky users who are ordering this week will get the phone before delayed pre-orders.
Another issue that was brought up about the handset was the yellow screen. It surfaced at the Google product forums that the Nexus 6P has a yellow hue or tint in the display.
There were also small issues on the security but this week Google pushed out a small 7MB security patch. This is the first update for the Nexus 6P, aimed at security, but there would be another to be released on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow before the end of the year to fix a few of these small issues.
Furthermore, Android Police stated on its article one of the huge problems that was encountered. The glass panel on the rear of the phone that covers the camera, LED flash, and laser autofocus module, was reported to be breaking on its own. One of the users on Android subreddit stated that the rear panel was cracking and at least two others have stated similar results, with the panel splitting into multiple cracks with no particular rough handling or impact.
BGR reported that the Huawei Nexus 6P has a serious bending problem. The phone is made of metal and glass, but the engineering team behind it seems to have made various design errors that make bending of the smartphone an easy process. This problem doesn't mean not to patronize Nexus 6P just because the phone bends. It only shows that there is an increased bending risk for the Nexus 6P and users of the handset should have to be extra careful with the device
The problems that has been detected seem to be just small ones so fixes for each should be expected soon. Moreover, it is still worth knowing that the despite these issues, the Google Nexus 6P is still dubbed to be one of the best Android smartphones in the market.
