As Google recently unveiled its newest flagships, the Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X, the former is now expected to reach India on October 13. The Huawei's 6P is believed to be armed with amazing specs which are expected to hook the interest of the Indian market.
According to Tech2, the biggest search engine company has started sending out invites for the event that will take place in Delhi. Google's Vice President and MD for India and South East Asia, Rajan Anandan, will also be present at the event. Google recently announced that the Huawei built Nexus 6P along with the LG-built Nexus 5X will be rolled out in India before the new iPhones arrive on Oct 16.
Tech Radar cited on its article the features and specifications of Huawei Nexus 6P. This handset sports a 5.7-inch AMOLED display with a QHD 2560 x 1440 resolution which results in a higher pixel density of around 518ppi. Nexus 6P is engineered with 2.0GHz octa-core, 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor, Adreno 430 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It will run the newest version of Android, the Marshmallow.
As for its camera, Huawei Nexus 6P is armored with a 12.3 megapixel lens with an IR laser-assisted autofocus. Meanwhile, its front-facing camera is an 8 megapixel snapper which is best for selfies and video call. This device is powered with a 3,450 mAh capacity battery.
The Nexus 6P pricing starts at $499 for the 32GB model, the 64GB version is $549 and the 128GB option is $649. In the UK it costs £449 for the 32GB model, £499 for the 64GB and £579 for the 128GB. In Australia, the Nexus 6P starts at AU$899 for the 32GB model.
NDTV Gadgets added that Nexus 6P will come with Frost, Aluminium and Graphite variety of colors.
With the release of Huawei Nexus 6P in the second largest market, the company is expecting to have a boost in sales. This device might give a great competition to its rivals, considering its notable and competitive features.
