By

The Google Nexus 6P which was dubbed as the Best Android Smartphone will fight against the Apple iPhone 6s Plus which brought record-breaking sales to the American tech giant.

Android Origin made a keen comparison between the Nexus 6P and iPhone 6s Plus. The Nexus 6P arrived sporting an octa core Snapdragon 810 processor working hand-in-hand with Adreno 430 GPU. Its rival iPhone 6s Plus comes with the Apple A9X processor. Though Apple Inc. still used the dual core processors, the performance of its latest handset is actually phenomenal and comparable to some of the notable Android phones out in the smartphone arena.

As for the display aspect, the Nexus 6P features a 5.7 inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. This is notably different from the Nexus 6 that has used an older generation of AMOLED panels when it launched. Google made sure that the Nexus 6P arrives sporting the latest generation panels from Samsung.

On the other hand, the iPhone 6s Plus is armored with a 5.5 inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Apple Inc. seems to be slow on jumping to higher screen resolutions and bigger displays, but the color reproduction and display quality of its flagship smartphone is basically on top.

The Nexus 6P is packed with a 3 GB of RAM alongside an internal storage options starting at 32 GB while the latest iPhone comes with 2 GB RAM and an internal storage starting at 16 GB. Both of these handsets do not support microSD cards.

In addition, the Huawei-made flagship is powered by a 3,450 mAh battery and is enhanced by Marshmallow's Doze feature, making the device lasts for a day with normal usage. The iPhone 6s Plus, on the other hand, is armed by a 2750 mAh battery which also has the power to stay up for an all-day usage.

Furthermore, Christian Post added that Nexus 6P features a 12-megapixel rear camera with laser autofocus and dual-LED flash. It also has an 8MP front snapper, as well as 2160p video capability at 30fps. The iPhone 6s Plus sports 12-megapixel face detection autofocus and dual-LED flash rear camera, partnered with a 5-megapixel face detection, HDR and panorama front shooter. Apple's device offers 2160p video capabilities at 30fps, as well as optical stabilization.

BetaNews cited the price variation of both handsets: the Nexus 6P starts at $499 for 32 GB; $549 for 64 GB and $649 for 128 GB while its rival is currently tagged at $749 for 16GB; $849 for 64GB and $949 for 128GB.

The Nexus 6P and iPhone 6s Plus are indeed both powerful smartphones, but these devices also have great differences when it comes to specs features and even on its price. However, it's still up to the user to choose which one appears to be better, depending on his or her needs, wants and preferences.
