Microsoft is only days away from releasing the latest Xbox One dashboard, and the good news for Xbox 360 users is that the new console will support 104 Xbox 360 games.
According to The Verge, the Xbox One will be compatible with 104 titles from the Xbox 360, allowing users of the Microsoft's new console to play multiplayer games with users of the older Xbox 360 model. Microsoft originally promised that they would make 100 titles made compatible between Xbox One and 360, and now the company has kept that promise by releasing a list of games officially supported.
Mike Ybarra, Director of Program Management of Xbox, announced that included in the Xbox One Backward Compatibility will include games like the complete Gears of War catalog, Assassin's Creed II, Fallout 3, Borderlands, and Castle Crashers, says Major Nelson.
The full list of all the 104 Xbox 360 games now compatible with Xbox one can be found on the Xbox official blog. The launch will be made available on November 12, and the company has reiterated that this is just the beginning. Xbox plans to launch more titles for backward compatibility.
This December, Xbox one will be announcing more backward compatibility games. Other titles on the way include fan favourites like Halo Reach, Halo Wars, Call of Duty®: Black Ops 1, Bioshock, Bioshock 2, Bioshock Infinite, and Skate 3.
