A PC Patch for 'Call of Duty: Black Ops III' may have been released but PC gamers still encounter issues. Along with the key gameplay elements introduced by the game, a few problems came after its released.
The game recently took the center of attention not for excellent performance but regarding server problems instead. To provide a solution, Treyarch's director of development announced on Twitter that the update patch has been launched live. Players, however, may need to re start their Steam if the problem persists. The patch mainly tackles issues on CPUs and Intel i5 processors.
To provide a solution, Treyarch's director of development said on his official Twitter account that the update patch is now live. However, the players may still need to start their Steam again if any problems will persist. This patch focuses on problems on CPUs as well as Intel i5 processors.
"BlackOps3 PC update is Live! You may need to restart Steam if it doesn't update right away."
Forbes have noted that the "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" game on PS4 did not significantly show some issues, but the PC version of the game revealed problems that annoyed its players.
Some of these problems on the PC version include poor frame rates, inaccessible multiplayer, and freezing. Lagging and black screen caused the game to crash and eventually spoil BlackOps3's big launching.
Tech Times recommended a fix that players may perform to solve the drops in frames per second (fps). They advise to locate the Black Ops 3 folder and go to Players. The users will then open the Config.ini. file, search for WorkThreads, and change the value "2." Finally, the file needs to be saved and the player may try the game.
Some fans seem to lose hope that the game will be fixed. However, many believe that 'Call of Duty: Black Ops III' will have another PC Patch that will solve these problems.
