Despite the postponement of the upcoming roleplaying game Persona 5, fans will be delighted with the new mission called the Stealing Heart that is included in the game, as revealed by its trailer. Meanwhile, rumors spread that the release of the Persona 5 next year will include its first downloadable content.
The new mission is revealed through the gameplay trailer by game director Katsura Hashino, wrote Master Herald in their site. The Stealing Heart mission is to thieve hearts of shady people and corrupt individuals to keep the world from endless gloom. According to game developer, the mechanic is essential to the story of the game.
Persona 5 revolves around a group of high school students with a talking cat named Morgana who have the talent to interrelate with the supernatural sphere. During the day, they are the usual teenagers but when night comes, they transform into good thieves.
The site recalled that during the 2015 Tokyo Game Show, Hashino said that game developer Atlus is pleased with the reception of the gamers to the trailer of Persona 5, despite the changed of release date from this year to 2016.
While waiting for the release date, talks are running the rumor mill that Persona 5 will come with downloadable content upon its availability next year, shared The Realty Today. The speculation steams from what Hashino said that once the Persona 5 is out "it will be worth it in the end." It is supposed that Persona 5's DCL is a cosmetic kind, although Atlus is not confirming the speculations.
Reports bring to mind that Hashino expressed regrets over the delay of Persona 5 release date. Supposedly, the game should be available in 2014 but was scheduled again this year. However, due to circumstances it was again announced that Persona 5 will be hitting the shelves in 2016.
Game developer Atlus together with game Director Katsura Hashino scheduled the release of Persona 5 in Japan and United States in 2016 for the Playstation 3 and Playstation 4.
