"Once Upon A Time" Season 5 Episode 8 entitled "Birth" will be a special two-hour episode and it is about characters such as Mulan and Ruby coming back. It is also said that Zelena will be giving birth in this Sunday's episode of the ABC series.
In a report by ABC, "Once Upon A Time" Season 5 Episode 8 will be full of tension as Camelot is under threat as Merlin is under the control of Arthur. Merlin will be delivering an ultimatum to Emma, and that is to hand over the Dark One dagger and the Promethean spark which she was able to retrieve in Episode 7 from the first Dark One, Nimue. If Emma won't do as he says, he will kill her entire family.
Emma will reportedly refuse to do so and the other heroes of the show will face off against Arthur, Merlin, and Zelena. However, Emma will be making a decision that no one expected she will do.
At some point in "Once Upon A Time" Season 5 Episode 8, the gang will be shown in present day at Storybrooke and they will find out that Zelena's baby will be coming out earlier than expected. Due to this, Hook will be demanding answers from the Dark Swan, Carter Matt shared.
During the two-hour special episode, "Once Upon A Time" will also see Granny, Doc, Happy, Dr. Whale, Nurse Ratched, Mulan, and Ruby coming back. According to Movie Fone, for the second hour entitled "The Bear King," Zelena and Arthur will be going on a journey to DunBroch in an attempt to retrieve an enchanted relic that will give them the advantage to kill Emma and the heroes.
Merida will also still be present in "Once Upon A Time" Season 5 Episode 9 and she will cross paths with Mulan and Ruby.
"Once Upon A Time" Season 5 Episode 8 and 9 will be about the truth on how Emma became the Dark Swan, the birth of Zelena's baby, and some familiar faces being seen again. The show airs Sundays on ABC.
