Moreover, the 12.9-inch tablet got similar performance with the 13-inch MacBook Pro and Surface Pro 4 in single-core tests, and it's faster than the 12-inch Retina MacBook and the 2015 MacBook Air. In the multi-core tests, the iPad Pro shows great performance as well, outdoing Apple's Retina MacBook and MacBook Air. More notably, when it comes to graphics performance, the A9X chip is better than anything currently available found in a computer, regardless of its kind.
As for the price competition, Apple Insider stated on its article that iPad Pro is prices at $799 while its rival Surface Pro 4 that has lost in benchmarks test is tagged at $899. But then, if the users wish to have a Surface Pro 4 that is more powerful than the iPad Pro they have to upgrade into the $1299 version powered by an Intel Core i5, which costs as much as Apple's 13 inch MacBook Pro.
Additionally, MacRumors cited the availability of the iPad Pro, this device was launched November 11 and it has limited in-store stock at select Apple Retail Stores in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and some other countries. But then, it is available on Personal Pickup in U.S. stores.
