Project X Zone 2 New DLC Highlights Moonlight Spear; Game Soundtrack Also Coming Out, Says Bandai Namco

Bandai Namco keep Project X: Zone 2 exciting by releasing downloadable contents that includes weapons and special items and the opening and closing theme of the game.

Bandai Namco distributes free DLC for Project X Zone 2: Brave New World, Perfectly Nintendo reported. The DLC includes a new weapon called Moonlight Spear, accessory which is the Topaz Medal and three special items - Deep-fried Tofu set, Urashima Special and Black Liver Bean. These inclusions are parts of the Trial Cross Item pack available through the add-on content menu in-game.

Game developer also bared the songs for the opening and ending themes which will be released on December 2. The opening song is Seika wa Hitotsu no Butai while the closing song is Tsuki Akari no Curtain Call.

Geek Snack further discussed the DLC as a pack together with special equipment that players will be able to download with the help of a special code included in the soon to be released new issue. The Project X Zone 2 comes in Standard Edition and Limited Edition in Japan. Limited edition incorporates a new version of the Bandai Namco title Valkyrie no Bōken: Toki no Kagi Densetsu - The Adventure of Valkyrie: The Legend of the Time Key featuring Xiamou as playable character.

Aside from the mentioned above, Vine Report also noted that the limited edition variant of Project X Zone 2: Brave New World features the ability the ability to play the game while listening to over 60 music tracks from the original Project X Zone. According to some reports, Japanese gamers also received a "The Girl from 10 Years Ago" challenge map, with the item called "Black Hot Pants" as a completion reward.

Project X Zone 2 is now available for Nintendo 3DS in Japan. The game will be released on February 16, 2015 in North America and on February 19, 2016 in Europe.
