Project X Zone 2 Trailer Release: Sega, Capcom and Bandai Namco Join Forces to Create the Largest Crossover Character Roster

Massive crossover character roster electrifies devotees of the Nintendo 3DS role playing game Project X Zone 2. Sega, Capcom and Bandai Namco combined forces to bring the characters to this one of a kind strategy game.

The playable characters of Zone 2 were revealed through a trailer Bandai Namco released during the New York Comic-Con, Anime News Network reported. The 12-minute video presentation screened the game's characters and game systems accompanied by the theme song "All the World's a Stage."

Developed by Monolith Software Inc, Project X Zone 2 provides gamers the chance to play as their favorite characters from a multitude of franchises including the "Tekken" series, Tales of Vesperia, and ".hack//" series from Bandai Namco; the "Resident Evil" series, "Devil May Cry" series, and "Megaman X" series from CAPCOM as well as Yakuza: Dead Souls, the "Sakura Wars" series, and "Virtua Fighter" series from Sega, with many others to be unveiled. Players will form teams of characters hailing from these classic series' and fight enemies through strategic turn-based battles.

Worth Playing listed the characters of Tactical-RPG series which includes the new playable characters Ingrid from the Street Fighter Alpha series, Ryo Hazuki from Shenmue and Estelle from Tales of Vesperia.

The game deemed successful because of the addition of many characters, in-game features and new languages for subtitles: French, Italian, German, and Spanish, Worth Playing added.

Meanwhile Forbes Contributor Ollie Barder is pleased to know that Ryo Hazuki, the protagonist from the classic Shenmue games, make it to the roster of playable characters. According to Barder, Ryo Hazuki, from Sega's classic Shenmue games is "a popular character and his inclusion is definitely something everyone is happy to see."

Project X Zone 2, with its massive crossover characters is unquestionably an RPG in its kind. The Nintendo 3DS strategy game is due in Japan on November 12, 2015 in North America on February 16, 2016 and in Europe on February 19, 2016.
