While reports say the "Indiana Jones 5" movie seems to continue production anytime soon, the lead actor confirmed his desire to return back for his role. However, Lucasfilm has not yet released any detail about the upcoming project.
According to a previous report, the movie director, Steven Spielberg, has recently revealed that "Indiana Jones 5" movie might still happen. But he hopes that Harrison Ford will reprise his titular role. The director, however, insisted that the statement was not an announcement which seemed like it was for most of the audiences.
During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Ford has confirmed that he will be returning for the "Indiana Jones 5" movie. He reiterated that the movie was good as well as the movie director which would be enough for him to like it.
"Oh, yeah. Yeah, I'd love to do another Indiana Jones," he said. "A character that has a history and a potential, kind of a rollicking good movie ride for the audience, Steven Spielberg as a director - what's not to like?"
Furthermore, Collider noted that the "Indy" fans must have been happy to see him again after the fourth installment of the "Indiana Jones" movie. However, the 73-year old actor dedicated his movies to everyone who allots their time just to see his movies in theaters.
Sources the report hyped the excitement of the fans that are eagerly waiting for the "Indiana Jones 5" movie. Movie details have not been revealed yet. And at this time, there are no reported progresses with the casting process or any additional cast to be joining.
Moreover, the crew behind the "Indiana Jones" movie franchise are hopeful that the fourth sequel film will soon happen. But reports say if would be better if the "Indiana Jones 5" movie will not be as disastrous as the previous sequel film.
