There is a long wait for "Suits" Season 5's January 27 return and the answer to the one question foremost in the minds of the show's fans of who is responsible for Mike's arrest will have to wait to be revealed as well. That question and if Mike will be able to work his way out of it are still unclear as of this time even with the numerous spoilers that have been going around over the show's long hiatus.
For now at least, EP Aaron Korsh is giving something in the way of a tweet that will make the waiting and the suspense bearable. According to Cartermatt, rather than give a clue on who did it, Korsh gave a confirmation on who did not. His post on Twitter made it clear that it was not one of the show's main six characters. This means that Rachel did not deliberately sabotage Mike's career or their relationship. This also eliminates Louis Litt and Harvey as the culprit.
However, Korsh's clue doesn't seem to help at all if the number of suspects is considered. The whistleblower can come from Rachel's family, other people in the firm and can even be someone unexpected. Mike was even seen confessing his sins to Father Walker in the "Suits" Season 5 midseason finale reports Movie News Guide. It is said however that some fans do not seem to mind who turns out to be the person who turned Mike in as long as it makes sense and it can be worked into the story seamlessly.
Meanwhile, in a previous interview, Korsh revealed that Mike's arrest will definitely have a big impact on his relationship with Rachel reports Realty Today. He said,"Obviously it's this huge thing, and it remains to be seen how they will respond to it. It will give them an opportunity to understand conflict but also to be there for each other." Whether or not they will breakup is one of the things fans are watching out for in "Suits" Season 5.
USA Network recently released a promo clip for episode 11 of "Suits" Season 5 tagged as #WhoSoldMikeOut which showed the characters that may potentially be responsible for Mike's arrest. Find out on January 27 on USA Network who that person really is in an episode titled Blowback.
