The first half of "Suits" Season 5 ended with the biggest cliffhanger in the show's history. Mike Ross was exposed for the fraud that he was and many are asking what will happen to him after being arrested. Already, the arrest has affected Harvey deeply as he already turned in his resignation.
The biggest question every fan wants answered is who turned in Mike? In the past, Harvey and Mike have gone against a number of people that there is quite a long list of those who would want to bring them down. A Christian Post article mentions the whistle blower could come from Daniel Hardman, Logan Sanders, Clair Bowden and Trevor.
Hardman has in the past worked discreetly in causing problems for Harvey and Mike. He also has the resources to access Mike's records. Logan is Rachel's ex-boyfriend who Mike had gone against for so many times in the past season. Revealing Mike's secret could spell trouble for the newly engaged Mike and Rachel. Clair Bowden had a past romantic relationship with Mike and his former best friend Trevor can also be considered a suspect due to his resentment on not benefitting yet from Mike's success.
Series creator, Aaron Korsh, shared the endless possibilities of people who could hand Mike in. The perpetrator could even be someone viewers have never seen before in the show. In his interview with TV, he explained the decision to have Mike's arrest in the mid-season finale. He said, "We actually for a change did know that. We didn't know if it was gonna happen in Episode 16 or Episode 10. I think it might've happened at the end of last year that we thought, 'Let's just do it. It's time.'"
Reality Today reports that Korsh revealed that "Suits" Season 5 Episode 11 titled, "Blowback" will provide answers about the events that unfolded during the midseason finale. The second half will focus on Mike and what he goes through after being arrested. The arrest will have a big impact on his relationship with Rachel but Korsh admitted he still had no idea if the relationship survives.
It will not only be Rachel who will have a hard time dealing with Mike's arrest. Harvey, who was making progress with his therapy sessions and was ready to have a healthy relationship with someone, will suffer a setback.
Do you have another theory on Mike's whistle blower? The real one will be known soon when "Suits" Season 5 returns with new episodes on Jan. 2016 on USA Network.
