Nintendo has recently announced The Pokemon Company's first adaptation of the Picross game, Pokemon Picross, to be digitally released in December exclusively for Nintendo 3DS.
Nintendo's free-to-download puzzler features hundreds of Pokemon characters. The game is scheduled for a digital release next month which would require one's logic and mathematical skills in order to solve for puzzles. It would challenge players to strategically break blocks and reveal character portraits. Digital Trends reports that the game would be offered for free trial upon release and would require purchasing for continued play. The game, which is the latest in string of Picross games released for Nintendo 3DS and would digitally launch in Europe and North America on December from the Nintendo 3DS eShop.
This first Pokemon adaptation of the Picross game shall challenge a player to solve a number of puzzles. Once completed, the Pokemon in the portrait shall be unlocked and be added to a player's Pokemon collection. The collected Pokemons, for instance, may now help the player to solve further puzzles with their varying skills, as reported by Digital Spy. More than 300 puzzles shall be offered in the game, including an advanced mode and daily training option. In addition, The Pokemon Company said that all mega-evolved Pokemon in the Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire games shall all show up in Pokemon Picross.
Furthermore, Gamespresso reports about an in-game currency called Picrittes. Picrittes can be credited through gameplay and can also be purchased with real world money. Such in-game currencies can also be used and spent in order to gain hints on tricky puzzles.
Unlock over 300 pocket monsters in Nintendo and The Pokemon Company's Pokemon Picross. The game would be available for free trial and can be digitally purchased for full game. The game can be downloaded on the Nintendo 3DS eShop in December.
